There is no scam involved. After all, what is the use in knowing someone else's booking id? We are just using a service provided by DataWind to show the booking status of Aakah tablet/UbiSlate 7+
I tried myself with my booking id and it works perfectly even though sometimes it is very slow to respond.

its a fraud company i quess i ordered the ubislate in dec and was suposed to get it by jan still no clue. and i receive a mail from the company saying that i can get the tablet by march if i send a dd or cheque to their adress.well this is one part if u go to their site it says booking for tablet supposed to get delivered in march is going on. i ask where are the tab that were booked on nov-dec and were supposed to get it by jan, they havent received it yet . when are these ppl who are booking now will receive.

as i m not in opposed to it but as people showing faith in product they have got only a hope and just big reason and promises nothing practical looking .
its my hearty request that pls buy genuine products... to avoid all this .

I have also booked the UbiSlate 7+ in the month of December 2011, but till date I haven't received any information or update regarding the delivery of it. I tried calling the 1800-180-2-180 number and also send the email to them asking about the delivery of the UbiSlate. But they haven't given any response, seems like they don't care about it. I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT PROVIDING THE UBISLATE ON THE BOOKING IS A "HOAX". Its better to go with BSNL tablet.

Datawind has not delivered a single tablet to anyone. Ask from company for address of person who got tab. Nov. they said lauching in jan. Jan to feb then march now they are saying april. This is bogus company. Dont send advance payment and go for the other tab. I booked ubislate 7+ in november and still empty handed.

News are breaking that in market that a big scam is in making by company Datawind. It has got publicity bye entering into a contract suddenly from air with Govt and after that contract got cancelled on flimsy ground. Contract was cancelled by govt to show that Govt (official/Minister) are not involved. But by that Time Company already came in limelight. To generate some confidence, company also distributed some samples but full supply was never the intention.
After the publicity and large booking company entered to next step of scam by announcing preference to them who make advance payment. It was never the condition earlier. Booking was allowed to be made without payment so that it can get huge publicity by high volume of booking. By this huge booking figure confidence was given to public. By now company has already collected around 1500 coroe (2999* 15 lacks).
Major acts of suspicion-
1) How suddenly govt decided to give Tablet to all, where govt cannot give books.
2) How suddenly govt decided to cancel the order on flimsy ground.
3) Pre payment was never an option.
4) Booking status link is inactive in broad day light.
5) New booking status is working absolutely fine.
6) Contact numbers not responding by any date of supply.
Company can nay day lockout and directors will leave india and 1500 crors will be lost by public. Till now acts and activities of the company is very suspicious and similar to companies of past who cheated the public and ran away.
Please forward this mail and awaken people not to deposit the advance payment and appeal to govt to attach the passport of Mr sunit singh Tulli.

1) How suddenly govt decided to give Tablet to all, where govt cannot give books.
2) How suddenly govt decided to cancel the order on flimsy ground.
3) Pre payment was never an option.
4) Booking status link is inactive in broad day light.
5) New booking status is working absolutely fine.
6) Contact numbers not responding by any date of supply.
Company can nay day lockout and directors will leave india and 1500 crors will be lost by public. Till now acts and activities of the company is very suspicious and similar to companies of past who cheated the public and ran away.
Please forward this mail and awaken people not to deposit the advance payment and appeal to govt to attach the passport of Mr sunit singh Tulli.

shashi kumar sinha : wats fucking wrong with u?????...indian union minister already announced in lokh sabha budget bill time..its going to be released on 31st march and distibution will be started in april 2012....first watch the news about datawind delivery status..then post the comments...dnt post fucking wrong adressing about them..if u are against datawind...then go for other tablets...

DATAWIND should respond to below comments from public, then only public can believe in Datawind. Why not Datawind announces officially the delay of lunch. No comments from Datawind company yet. Until the concern member from Datawind announces officially no one believes now.
If you see the Booking Status for April is till available. 2 months its sold quickly, then no one booking... because we lost faith in Datawind.
We can go for other tabs but who will give back our money ???

Rs 1500 coroe Ublislate scam…… Ubislate ( Akas2 ) is beggist scam breaking out
News are breaking that in market that a big scam is in making by company Datawind. It has got publicity bye entering into a contract suddenly from air with Govt and after that contract got cancelled on flimsy ground. Contract was cancelled by govt to show that Govt (official/Minister) are not involved. But by that Time Company already came in limelight. To generate some confidence, company also distributed some samples but full supply was never the intention.
After the publicity and large booking company entered to next step of scam by announcing preference to them who make advance payment. It was never the condition earlier. My pre booking id is 'PMC5A97'. I've sent Rs.2999/- as advance on 23FEB12. I was told in acknowledgement mail on 10MAR12 that "You will receive Ubislate7+ soon"! It is nearly a month and I am still waiting for my 'TAB'!! What's more, the company is not even replying to my reminder!!!

No one has received ubislate 7+ till now because the tab has not launched yet.the expected date of of launch is 15th of april.
Still then also if you have paid in advance then you can expect the delivery till end of this month otherwise you might have to wait till mid to end of may month.
